Blanco is as close to an impact player i have seen on the Fire. (I admit I am only in my second year as a fanatic) I expect he and Wanchope to make all players around them better. Not to mention Rolfe’s return. I am hopeful. Here is to a GREAT game.

I’ve been a Blanco skeptic from the day he signed but there is no denying he adds some excitement to a team that sure could use some. Certainly makes me more eager to tune into a Fire match.

Between calling the players “Fires” (I endorse the bejesus out of that tradition and will borrow it; thanks) and “Blanchopholfe,” this is one fantastic post.

Congratulations, by the way, on having a team worth getting excited about again. Hope it holds together for you (if only in a way that in no way harms my interests).
