Seems like there’s this whole video thing, with this whole interview thing. It’s just so durned neat. Golly! (This one goes out to my peeps in north-central Indiana, where I grew up. Nothing like speaking the home tongue.)
I love that ESPN has agreed to go with Blanco being interviewed in Spanish. No one’s face looks pleasant speaking a tongue with which they’re barely acquainted. Ask me a few questions in French, and my lips will peel back like that meat-eating plant from Little Shop of Horrors. It’s not pretty.
I also love that Blanco mentions his disappointment over the tepid second half. I’m sure I’m not alone among Fire fans in saying this: How is it I didn’t recognize what a warrior this dude was when he was in Mexico?

Probably because we were all busy hating him to death for causing all sorts of havoc for out Nats. And here we are praising him for the same type of play while wearing the mighty red! i love it.
