Armas to retire
By: Tom | April 4th, 2007The Fire’s midfield mainstay for many years, Chris Armas, told Michael Lewis that he plans to retire:
“This is going to be my last year,” Armas said in a telephone interview. “Barring something, this probably will be it for me. The team hasn’t made any public announcement, but I’ve come to grips with this probably will be it for me.”
The timing seems right. Let’s hope the Fire recognise his service well in his last year.
