Fire + Flames + Smoke + Beer + Rain = Falling Over
By: Tom | April 26th, 2007I mentioned yesterday that the conditions at the UIC Flames-Chicago Fire game were treacherous. For the fans, that is, not for the players, as I think there was actually more off-the-ball movement on the slippery bleachers than on the field of play. Below is videographical proof from the stands.
Incidentally, according to the official Fire site, “The exhibition match raised over six thousand dollars for the Chicago SCORES, a non-profit after school program serving the North Lawndale and Little Village communities.” That’s good stuff.
