Ask Peter Wilt

How many former MLS GMs are also members of Mike Ditka Street Crew? Answer? One, and of course, it’s the unique and lamented former Fire boss Peter Wilt, a loyal member of one of the Fire’s supporter’s groups.
As the handful of you who’ve been with this blog since its earliest days will recall, one of the first (and some might say only) interesting things we did was have a Q & A with Peter. Since then, the season has started, the Fire have signed Blanco, touched controversy once or twice, and topped the league. So there’s a lot to talk about as we prepare to revisit with Peter.
Peter himself has closed down his open Q & A thread on Bigsoccer. So here’s your chance to ask Peter anything about the Fire, MLS, his own soccer projects - developing a WUSA team in Chicago, and working towards an MLS team in Milwaukee - or whatever else passes your fancy, as this time, the questions will hopefully not only come from me.
To keep things from spiralling out of control Bigsoccer-style, I’ll be moderating the Q & A to keep things orderly. Simply post your questions below or email them to me at tjd1979@gmail.com so I can send them on, and watch this space for Peter’s responses.
