So, who’s the new guy?

By: Dieter Kurtenbach | July 3rd, 2010

I’m glad you asked. Well, he’s:

A sportswriter who covers the Chicago Blackhawks for examiner.com, the National Hockey League at hockeyindependent.com, chicago sports on NeedsMoreDitka.com and ChicagoTigerSports.com, and now the Chicago Fire at theoffside.com

A supporter of Liverpool FC and the US men’s national team.

A lifelong goalkeeper and opportunistic striker at 6′8″.

Someone who considers Messi a deity.

His favorite players include: Xabi Alonso, John Arne Riise, Michael Bradley, Ryan Babel and Bastian Schweinsteiger (good timing, right?).

A Twitter enthusiast (@dkurtenbach) since March 2007 who loves to talk about the beautiful game, even when it’s not so beautiful.

–All in all, I’m excited to bring analysis and opinion of Chicago’s team to theoffside.com.
